One of my favourite imagined portraits in the Tangier Imagined collection. I'm continually experimenting with new methods and Ophelia is born out of an exciting new process. The surface was built up through layered, alchemical processes, lending the work a lovely old world patina and dreamlike softness. For me painting is all about the feeling.
